Our History
St. Mukasa Preparatory Seminary was founded in 1967 by the Catholic Diocese with a vision to nurture young men in faith, academics, and character. Named after Saint Charles Lwanga Mukasa, one of the Uganda Martyrs, our institution carries forward the legacy of courage, faith, and sacrifice.
Over the decades, we have grown from a small community of 50 students to a thriving institution with over 500 students. Our alumni have gone on to become priests, educators, doctors, engineers, and leaders in various fields, all carrying the values instilled during their formative years here.

Nurturing priestly vocations by grooming young men (seminarians) into disciplined, spiritual, moral, social, academically sound, responsible and useful citizens.
